Shipping Info (for original artworks)
Worldwide Delivery: I ship my original artworks globally - all artworks come without frame - frames are a very personal and subjective choice and complicate shipping a lot at the same time.
Full Tracking Included: You will receive a tracking number as soon as your painting ships, allowing you to follow its journey.
Estimated Shipping Times (Standard PRIORITY):
I will usually ship on Wednesdays.
Europe: 3 – 7 business days
US & Canada: 5 – 10 business days
Rest of the World: 7 – 15 business days
Duty-Free Art: As original, handmade creations, all paintings are 100% duty-free worldwide under international customs laws (HS Code 9701). So there should be no need for you to pay customs only the local import taxes and inland carrier fees, which brings me to my next two points.
Local Import Taxes: Depending on your country, you will only be charged your local import sales tax (VAT/GST, lower than normal VAT in most countries for original artwork) and a small carrier handling fee.
Local sending fees: These fees are the responsibility of the buyer. The shipping carrier will contact you before delivery so you can easily pay online (via credit card), or you can pay in person upon arrival.
Hanging your original artwork
I use Gouache, Watercolor and Pencils for my artworks. That means the artworks are safe to touch with dry hands, but have to be protected from water/fluids. Do not varnish or fixate them, the sealing will change the colors and values in a major way.
Some people like to put them behind glass, and there are great glasses that don't reflect the light/windows - but I personally like to just frame them without glass. The chances that water will get to them are really low after all.
